Race Rhythm System

每一个比赛节奏方块都来自赛后身体真实感受。
每场比赛结束后,根据身体在整场比赛中的整体体验,从预设节奏状态中选择最接近的一种,用以记录比赛过程中的疲劳、困难、崩溃、恢复与节奏变化。

Each race rhythm block is generated from post-race bodily perception.
After each race, one rhythm state is selected according to the body’s overall experience during the race, including fatigue, difficulty, collapse, recovery, and rhythm changes across the course.

这是一个围绕身体、时间与耐力实践展开的长期档案项目。它通过持续的日常跑步训练、百公里以上越野赛记录与血液数据,观察身体在长期训练、极限负荷与恢复过程中如何被塑造、偏移与重新调整,并逐渐形成可被阅读的结构。

项目由两个并行的身体档案构成:TEMPO PRACTICE 与 EMBODIED GEODESY / 血肉测地学。前者记录外部身体的运动节奏,后者记录内部身体的血液变化。

两者共同构成一个关于身体、时间、负荷与恢复的档案系统。

This is a long-term archival project centered on the body, time, and endurance practice. Through continuous daily running training, records of 100 km+ trail races, and blood data, it observes how the body is shaped, displaced, and readjusted through long-term training, extreme load, and recovery, gradually forming a structure that can be read.

The project consists of two parallel body archives: TEMPO PRACTICE and EMBODIED GEODESY. The former records the movement rhythm of the exterior body, while the latter records the blood changes of the interior body.

Together, they form an archival system around the body, time, load, and recovery.

Tempo Practice

TEMPO PRACTICE 是一个围绕“节奏”展开的跑步训练与记录系统。它通过持续的日常训练与百公里以上越野赛实践,记录身体在运动中的状态,并将距离、时间、爬升、速度变化与主观感受转译为一种可重复的视觉结构。

在跑步过程中,节奏并不只是速度的变化,而是身体在时间中的组织方式:快与慢、稳定与紊乱、控制与崩解,都是节奏的不同表现。

作为“外部身体”的档案,TEMPO PRACTICE 关注身体如何在运动中被持续塑造,以及这种运动过程如何被转化为一种可被阅读的形式。

TEMPO PRACTICE is a running training and recording system centered on rhythm. Through continuous daily training and ultra-distance trail race practice, it records the body’s state in motion and translates distance, time, elevation gain, changes in speed, and subjective feeling into a repeatable visual structure.

In running, rhythm is not only a change in speed, but a way in which the body is organized in time: fast and slow, stability and disorder, control and collapse are all different manifestations of rhythm.

As an archive of the exterior body, TEMPO PRACTICE focuses on how the body is continuously shaped through movement, and how this process can be transformed into a readable form.

Embodied Geodesy / 血肉测地学

EMBODIED GEODESY / 血肉测地学 是一个关于“内部身体”的长期血液档案项目。它通过每月血液检测与百公里以上越野赛前后的血液数据,记录身体在持续训练、极限负荷与恢复过程中的内部变化。

不同于 TEMPO PRACTICE 对运动节奏的记录,Embodied Geodesy 关注身体内部的生理反应:炎症、肌肉损伤、代谢压力、恢复状态,以及这些指标如何在时间中形成变化轨迹。

作为“内部身体”的档案,Embodied Geodesy 将血液数据视为一种身体内部的测绘方式,用以观察运动实践如何在身体深处留下痕迹。

EMBODIED GEODESY / 血肉测地学 is a long-term blood archive project concerning the interior body. Through monthly blood tests and blood data collected before and after ultra-distance trail races, it records internal changes in the body during continuous training, extreme load, and recovery.

Unlike TEMPO PRACTICE’s record of movement rhythm, Embodied Geodesy focuses on the body’s internal physiological responses: inflammation, muscle damage, metabolic stress, recovery state, and how these indicators form trajectories of change over time.

As an archive of the interior body, Embodied Geodesy treats blood data as a way of mapping the body from within, observing how endurance practice leaves traces deep inside the body.
